Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various manual tasks across our worksite, supporting the overall operations, and ensuring safety and efficiency in daily activities. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials or equipment as directed
- Perform general site cleanup and maintain a tidy work area
- Support skilled tradespeople by providing necessary tools or materials during projects
- Follow safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents immediately
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Assist in setting up work areas for different tasks or projects
- Participate in team efforts to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Prior experience in construction, carpentry, or similar manual labor roles is preferred
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures and details
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Reliable transportation is mandatory
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various job duties
