Lucky 13 Auto Body & Paint is a full-service collision repair and paint facility in Edmonton. We're looking for a skilled Prep Tech / Painter who knows how to move efficiently without cutting corners. This is a full-time, year-round position with steady work and room to grow.
You'll be responsible for the full prep-to-paint process — from blocking and masking to colour matching and final finish. We expect you to manage your booth time, maintain a clean work environment, and deliver results that pass a close inspection every time.
What we're looking for
- Completed a recognized automotive refinishing program (journeyman)
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in a production auto body environment
- Strong prep skills — surface preparation, blocking, priming, and masking
- Proficient with waterborne and solvent-based paint systems
- Solid colour matching and blending ability
- Comfortable working at production pace while maintaining finish quality
- Detail-oriented — you notice runs, fisheyes, and texture before anyone else does
- Able to work independently and manage booth time without constant supervision
- Valid driver's licence
- Experience buffing and polishing finished panels
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
