Experienced Heavy Equipment Operators:
- Ability to work well with others.
- Dedicated to safe working conditions for all coworkers.
- Effective in time management.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours.
- Able to work overtime, nights, and weekends when needed.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean abstract
Experience:
- Minimum 3 Years’ Experience as an Equipment Operator (Required)
- Types of Heavy Equipment Operated: Backhoe, Excavator, Loader, and Skid-Steer.
- Trenching; Sub-grade excavating; Sloping and Banking; Rough Grading; Material handling; Land clearing; Excavation; Ditching; Demolition; Backfilling; Fine Grading
- Experience dealing with HRM, Halifax Water, commercial, and residential customers is an asset.
- Experience in repairing existing sewer & water infrastructure is major asset.
