Position Overview:
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Landscape Maintenance Labourer to join our team. This position involves a variety of landscaping tasks throughout the year, including lawn care, seasonal clean-ups, garden bed maintenance, and snow removal in the winter months. The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors in all seasons, has experience operating lawn and snow equipment, and takes pride in maintaining beautiful, well-kept properties and has a good attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain lawn care equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
- Perform weekly grass cutting, trimming, and edging
- Carry out seasonal clean-ups (spring and fall)
- Maintain garden beds (weeding, mulching, pruning, and general upkeep)
- Mulching and other enhancement options
- Assist with snow removal operations, including shoveling, salting, and operating snow equipment
- Ensure safe work practices and proper use of tools and equipment
- Work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and to company standards
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience using lawn and snow removal equipment (training available if required)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions year-round
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Team player with good communication skills
- Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs
