Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Technician Liaison based in Oakville to serve as a vital bridge between technical teams, clients, and project stakeholders. This role offers an exciting opportunity to coordinate technical activities, facilitate communication, and ensure seamless project execution across manufacturing and engineering environments.
Objectives
Provide interface between Lear Plants and customer on issues, new product launches. Be the face of Lear customer to enhance customer satisfaction. Serve as a link between the customer Plants and Lear assembly plants. Immediate communication of any customer dissatisfactions, looking to minimize any of them. Keep customer metrics performance under the established goals and objectives.
Day Shift
Wage $28.00 dollars per hour
Duties

Role and Responsibilities
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
- This position must operate on-site at the customer assembly plant(s) during the required shift(s) to support plant quality and related issues.
- Daily notification of Customer plant issues including, Quality, Engineering or Production.
- Maintain customer concern countermeasure list for Plant issues.
- Prompt reply to customer concerns by requesting it to wire harness plant.
- Knowledge of Wire Harness Plant Quality and Production Procedures.
- Support to Customer quality issues. §Support supplier quality issues. §Knowledge of Wire Harness Inspection Standards.
- Able to communicate directly with Customer to address Quality issues.
- Able to dispute or reject, with data or empirical knowledge, any customer rejection that is not Lear’s responsibility.
- Immediate and permanent communication of quality issues at Customer location.
- Coordinate quality and /or engineering issues that may jeopardize the customer and / or Lear
- Support visits and meetings at the customer, providing quality / warranty issues, as required
- Ensures Lear’s quality complies with standards and specifications, workmanship standards.
- Inspects the product and/or audits processes based upon the drawing requirements.
- Requests and understands Inspection and Rework methods for solving quality issues at customer plant.
- Tracks and reduces rejected inventory.
- Verifies conformance of parts and assemblies to standards and specifications.
- Must follow all Lear’s and Customer safety guidelines, standards and procedures.
- Must be able to work at customer production line when his/her participation is required
