PH Molds is a custom plastic injection molding manufacturer located in Pitt Meadows. We are hiring several Production Operators to support our molding and assembly operations.
This is a hands-on production role. Depending on production requirements, employees may work in injection molding, assembly, post-production operations or a combination of these areas. We provide training and do not require previous manufacturing experience.
Current schedules
Our production team works four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday. Current openings may be scheduled:
- 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Other 10-hour schedules falling between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
Applicants must be able to work their full assigned schedule consistently. Flexibility to work different schedules is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Operate injection molding machines following established work instructions
- Inspect plastic parts and identify defects
- Trim, assemble and package finished products
- Prepare boxes and apply accurate product labels
- Grind sprues and production regrind
- Perform pad-printing and other post-production operations
- Use scales and equipment such as drill presses
- Complete production paperwork accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Meet established quality and production targets
- Move between molding, assembly and other production duties as required
What we are looking for
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Comfortable performing repetitive, physical and detail-focused work
- Able to regularly lift and move boxes of parts and lift up to 50 lb
- Able to read, speak and write English well enough to understand work instructions, communicate workplace information and complete production records
- Basic math skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Able to work independently and as part of a production team
- Willingness to learn different jobs and move between production areas
- Reliable transportation to our Pitt Meadows facility
Previous manufacturing, assembly, machine-operating or quality-inspection experience is an asset but is not required. Training will be provided.
Compensation and benefits
- Starting wage of $20.00 per hour
- Wage range of $20.00 to $22.00 per hour as skills and capabilities develop
