TD Equine Veterinary Group is looking for a full-time Client Care Specialist to join our team! We are a multi-doctor ambulatory practice based just south of Calgary, with a focus on performance horses. Our clientele consists of high-level competition horses, foals to retired seniors and everything in between. We are looking for a positive, mature, self-motivated team player with strong communication and customer service skills. Main duties include client communications, accounts receivable, answering the phones and emails, scheduling appointments, invoicing and other administrative duties. Hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm. We offer competitive wages, health benefits and staff discounts. Significant experience with horses and in the equine industry is a requirement. Previous accounts receivable experience, practical knowledge of common procedures and equine terminology are all considered assets and would prioritize your application.
Main duties include but are not limited to:
- Answering client phone calls and emails
- Accounts receivable management including phone calls and emailing clients with outstanding accounts
- Entering new client accounts and patients into HVMS (Veterinary Clinic Software)
- Booking appointments and ensuring complete and accurate information is in the appointment and client account
- Effectively communicating with other staff, doctors and clients
- Emailing invoices, sending out monthly statements
- Accepting payments over the phone and in person, and posting payments in HVMS
