We are seeking five dedicated Poultry Farm Workers to join our team at Stonecreek Poultry Ltd. in Hensall, Ontario, Canada. This role is vital in supporting our daily operations and maintaining the high standards of our farm. The Poultry Farm Worker will contribute to the care of our livestock and the upkeep of farm equipment.
Job Duties:
- Monitor the health, condition, and welfare of livestock and report any signs of illness, injury, or abnormal behaviour.
- Walk through barns regularly to inspect animals and ensure feeding and watering systems are functioning properly.
- Ensure animals have adequate access to feed and clean drinking water.
- Empty, clean, and maintain barns, pens, and other livestock housing areas.
- Collect eggs laid outside of the nesting areas and ensure eggs are handled and stored
appropriately.
- Operate egg grading and packing equipment to grade, sort, and pack eggs according to farm procedures.
- Maintain accurate flock records, including production, health, mortality, and other required
information.
- Assist with general property maintenance, including outdoor grounds and farm facilities.
- Assist with the operation, cleaning, inspection, and routine maintenance of farm machinery and equipment.
- Perform general farm duties as required to support the day-to-day operation of the farm.
- Follow all farm health and safety procedures and maintain clean and sanitary working areas.
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to work full-time hours, including mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Physically capable of performing repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working in barn conditions
- Applicants require no formal education; however, applicants must have a minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of hands-on agriculture related experience. (Please provide any relevant reference letters with your application)

Wage & Vacancies:
$22.00 per hour working full time with an average of 30- 45 hours per week.
