We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide medication administration as prescribed and monitor health status
- Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs
- Engage in caregiving activities that promote mental and emotional well-being
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping and cleaning tasks
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
- Assist with transfers, positioning, and mobility exercises to prevent falls or injuries
- Follow care plans and document care provided accurately and promptly
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and team members to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care settings is preferred
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Knowledge of dementia care and medication administration is a plus
- Compassionate nature with excellent caregiving skills and patience
- Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Certification as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided if necessary
- Must be reliable, respectful, and committed to providing quality care in a professional manner

Pay: $18.05-$27.15 per hour
