We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Language Teacher to join our educational team. Duties
- Develop and deliver comprehensive language lessons tailored to students’ age and skill levels, incorporating curriculum standards and best practices.
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to organize materials, track student progress, and communicate with students and parents.
- Provide tutoring sessions to reinforce learning concepts and address individual student needs.
- Incorporate educational tools such as proofreading exercises, math integration, and interactive activities to enhance language acquisition.
- Adapt teaching strategies for students with special education requirements, ensuring an inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess student performance regularly through assignments, quizzes, and informal assessments; provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum content and teaching methods.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and lesson plans in accordance with school policies.
Skills
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and working effectively with children of various ages.
- Proven classroom experience with a focus on language instruction, including tutoring or specialized teaching roles.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- Knowledge of LMS platforms for course management and online instruction.
- Experience or familiarity with special education strategies to support diverse learners.
- Skills in proofreading and editing educational materials to ensure clarity and accuracy.
- Ability to teach math concepts integrated within language lessons when applicable.
- Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive learning environment that fosters student growth and confidence in language skills.
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
