Job Summary
Hi there, Mattachioni Restaurant is hiring Line Cooks/Pizza Makers/ Bakers. We are a small team of friendly cooks, we have a wood fired oven for our pizza and breads. We hand shape our sourdough loaves and the bread and pizza dough are 100% naturally leavened.
We are known for our pizza, sourdough, sandwiches and salads. We also produce a number of pickled items for retail with our peperoncini being the most popular in addition to giardiniera, pickles and onions.
We are a cozy 28 seat restaurant in the Junction Triangle (1617 Dupont St.).
We are open Monday through Sunday for service 0900-2100 and closed on all major holidays, there is typically 2-3 kitchen staff per day covering the baking, and service.
Shift times vary according to the day of the week with weekends that are typically busier than weekdays.
Baking shifts are 0700-1500
Day Line shifts are 0900-1500/1600
Evening Line shifts are 1500/1600 - Close (Kitchen closes at 2100 then break down)
