Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist customers with their orders, answer questions about menu items, and upsell products to enhance sales
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met at all times
Experience
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is a plus
- Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
