Summary
We are seeking a licensed Electrician to join our dynamic team in Greater Sudbury. Licensed Electrician supports PSL operations by monitoring, improving and repairing all electrical field services. working collaboratively in the field with team to achieve quality customer service outcomes and, in line with the vision, mission and values of the company
Responsibility & Duties
- Valid 309A electrical trade license
- 5+ years of experience in the commercial construction sector
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong ability to interpret blueprints, drawings and documents
- Ability to lead a crew of up to 5 people
- Ability to plan, organize and work with minimal supervision
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrates ability to work as part of the team
Requires Knowledge & Awareness Of Following Tasks
- Electrical service calls / electrical projects (are ESA permits required, etc.)
Work Conditions
- Outdoors in 4 seasons – exposure to extreme temps
- Dusty, hot indoor industrial environments
- Industrial process areas – noise conditions
- Process areas with various fumes
- Areas of volatile substances - nickel carbonyl, CO, SO2, nickel dust
- Working at heights
- Office environment
- Travel long distances / consecutive hours of driving
- Working / callouts throughout night time hours - service / emergency issues
Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
