We are seeking a skilled Yard Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing trailers and basic work for trucks. The Yard Mechanic plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our yard activities by keeping all equipment in optimal condition.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections
- Diagnose mechanical issues and execute repairs promptly to minimize downtime
- Use hand tools and power tools to repair or replace parts as needed
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
- Assist with the assembly, disassembly, and movement of equipment within the yard
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during maintenance activities
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe for all team members
