We are seeking a motivated and experienced Food Truck Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role involves preparing and cooking a variety of delicious menu items in a fast-paced food truck environment. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in the food preparation area
- Serve customers promptly and accurately, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Assist with food presentation and portion control to ensure quality standards are met
- Manage food inventory and restock supplies as needed
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy hours
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and workstations regularly
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation.
- Background in restaurant or kitchen environments.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is essential
- Experience working in the food industry, particularly in meal preparation or mobile food services, is a plus
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and efficiency
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
