Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a proven track record in retail sales and store management. Duties
- Lead and supervise the sales team to achieve sales targets and improve overall store performance
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies, marketing campaigns, and promotional activities
- Oversee merchandising, pricing, and product placement to maximize sales potential
- Manage store operations including cash handling, POS transactions, and inventory purchasing
- Recruit, train, and develop staff through ongoing training & development programs
- Conduct interviews and participate in hiring decisions to build a high-performing team
- Monitor sales metrics and prepare reports on store performance for senior management
- Handle customer service issues promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Manage payroll, budgeting, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks related to store operations
- Ensure compliance with company policies regarding cash handling, safety procedures, and store standards
- Coordinate with marketing teams to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement efforts
Experience
- Proven experience in retail management or sales management roles with supervisory responsibilities
- Strong background in merchandising, pricing strategies, and store operations management
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment
- Excellent negotiation skills with experience in recruiting, training & development, and team supervision
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling procedures, bookkeeping software, and administrative tools
- Multilingual abilities are preferred to effectively communicate with diverse customer bases
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently across multiple priorities
- Effective communication skills for engaging customers, training staff, and collaborating with other departments
- Experience in marketing strategies including promotional planning and market analysis is advantageous
