Overview
We are seeking two passionate and energetic Early Childhood Educators to join our dedicated team in the OSC room. You will be instrumental in supporting children's development, and ensuring a positive daycare environment.
Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Supervise children to ensure safety at all times.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and team members through effective communication and active engagement.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Follow all licensing regulations and centre policies to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Skills
- Demonstrated experience working with children in a daycare or early childhood setting, preference given to those with OSC experience.
- Knowledge of childcare best practices and early childhood education principles.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs; familiarity with inclusive education strategies.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Leadership qualities to guide children positively while fostering independence.
- Time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities throughout the day.
