We are looking for an experienced and motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team for the preopening of Best Western Aiden Toronto Airport.
The Housekeeping Supervisor will oversee daily housekeeping operations, supervise and train staff, inspect guest rooms and public areas, manage housekeeping supplies, and ensure the hotel meets high standards of cleanliness and guest service.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff and daily assignments.
- Conduct room and public-area inspections.
- Assist with deep cleaning and hotel reopening preparations.
- Train staff on cleaning standards, safety, and hotel procedures.
- Monitor linen, amenities, and housekeeping supplies.
- Report maintenance issues and ensure deficiencies are corrected.
- Work closely with Front Desk and Maintenance to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Handle guest requests and housekeeping concerns professionally.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience required; supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- WHMIS and health & safety knowledge is an asset.
