STATS is looking for a full time Pressure B Welder to work in the shop with potential for some field work starting as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques and equipment, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine project specifications.
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures, components, and piping systems.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure welds meet industry standards and project requirements.
- Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and grind metal pieces as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute welding projects efficiently.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
THIS POSITION REQUIRES AVAILABILITY TO WORK BOTH DAY AND NIGHT SHIFTS BASED ON OPERATIONAL NEED
Experience:
- Ability to read schematics, and engineering drawings accurately
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively
- Experience with oilfield welding
- Knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations related to welding processes
- Pressure B Welder Ticket + ARC Welding OR are capable of passing assessments
- Proficient in various welding techniques such as SMAW,(Stick) GMAW (MIG) and GTAW (TIG)
- Filler Metal Group experience with F3; F4 or F6 an asset
- Red Seal Journeyman ticket an advantage
