We are looking for an experienced General Construction & Renovation Worker to join our team. This is a hands-on position for someone who is comfortable working across residential renovation sites and can take on a variety of construction and carpentry tasks.
The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, takes pride in their work, and has practical experience with residential renovations. You should be comfortable moving between job sites, working independently, and helping keep projects organized and moving forward.
Responsibilities
- Perform general construction and renovation work at residential job sites
- Travel between job sites as required
- Pick up and transport construction materials, tools, and supplies
- Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools and materials
- Complete demolition and site preparation
- Perform general carpentry and framing work
- Install flooring, including preparation and finishing
- Install tub and shower surrounds
- Assist with bathroom and kitchen renovations
- Complete drywall, trim, finishing, and other general renovation tasks
- Measure, cut, install, and finish materials accurately
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work site
- Follow project plans, instructions, and safety procedures
- Work independently as well as part of a small construction team
- Perform other general construction duties as required
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- Previous experience in residential construction or renovations
- Strong hands-on experience with demolition
- Experience installing flooring
- Experience installing tub and shower surrounds
- Carpentry experience and the ability to complete general carpentry tasks
- Ability to use common construction tools safely and effectively
- Own reliable vehicle required; a truck is preferred
- Valid driver's licence
- Ability to travel between multiple job sites and pick up materials and tools as required
- Ability to lift and move construction materials and equipment
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Ability to work independently and take direction when required
- Good attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

We are looking for someone who knows construction and can get the job done. This is not an entry-level labour position. The successful candidate should be able to arrive at a job site, understand what needs to be done, and complete a variety of renovation tasks with minimal supervision.
We value reliability, quality workmanship, and good communication, and we are prepared to pay competitively for the right person with the right skills and experience. This position pays $30/hour during the one-month probationary period. Upon successful completion of the probationary period, compensation will be reviewed and adjusted based on the employee’s skills, experience, reliability, and quality of workmanship. We are prepared to compensate the right person competitively.
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
