Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various construction projects, supporting skilled trades, and ensuring the smooth operation of job sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, basic knowledge of construction tools and techniques, and a willingness to learn and grow within the industry. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in multiple aspects of construction, including restoration, carpentry, plumbing, and more.
Duties
- Assist with the use of hand tools and power tools to complete construction tasks
- Support carpenters, plumbers, welders, and other tradespeople on-site
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to assist with project execution
- Perform tasks such as caulking, painting, flooring installation, tile laying, and restoration work
- Help with the installation of flooring and tiles as directed
- Support plumbing and welding activities when required
- Assist in demolition, site cleanup, and material handling to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure work environment
Requirements
- Prior experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic construction techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics is a plus
- Knowledge of carpentry, caulking, painting, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, or tile laying is desirable
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Reliable transportation to job sites; valid driver’s license is advantageous
- Positive attitude with a commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
