Job Description:
Micon Products Ltd. is looking for a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team as a Shipper & Receiver. This position involves a range of responsibilities crucial to supporting our daily operations, including receiving goods and packing goods ready for shipping.
Please note that some heavy lifting is required.
Responsibilities:
- Receive all incoming goods
- Inspect goods for damage and report to Office
- Pack items for shipping
- Operating forklift
- Material Handling – moving and organizing steel for upcoming jobs
- Occasionally assisting production dept. with tasks as needed
Skills and Attributes:
- Mechanically aptitude and hands-on experience in similar roles
- Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Capable of working both independently and under minimal supervision
- Must posses a valid Class 5 Drivers License
- Steel or Composite toe boots required
- Physically able to lift up to 50-60 lbs.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 4:00pm
