Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Closing Food Production Team Member to join our evening shift team. This role is essential in ensuring the quality, safety, and timely preparation of food products at the end of each day. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, experience in food handling, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to company recipes and standards
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during the closing shift
- Ensure all food products are prepared, packaged, and stored properly for next-day use
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with inventory management by organizing ingredients and supplies
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of food items
- Document completion of closing procedures and report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors
- Support team members in completing end-of-day cleaning tasks to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in cooking, restaurant service, or food preparation is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with meal preparation, food service, and kitchen operations is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment during evening hours
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within the closing shift schedule
