Channel Marketing Manager – Retail & Costco - Brampton
About the Role:
Are you a strategic marketer who loves turning customer and market insights into products and programs that drive growth?
Our client, a leader in their industry is looking for a Channel Marketing Manager – Retail & Costco to lead channel marketing strategy, customer marketing, and new product development across Retail and Costco, partnering closely with Sales and National Account Managers to drive customer growth.
This is a highly collaborative role. You’ll identify opportunities, shape channel strategy, build the innovation pipeline, and lead new products from concept through customer launch.
What You’ll Do
- Develop channel marketing strategies based on customer needs, category trends, competitive activity, and market performance.
- Own marketing strategy and execution for Costco and assigned Retail channels, partnering closely with Sales and National Account Managers on customer growth opportunities.
- Build and manage a 24-month New Product Development pipeline across branded, private label, and white-label opportunities.
- Lead new branded products from concept and business case through customer presentation, commercialization, and launch.
- Provide market intelligence and insights on consumer trends, competitors, categories, and industry developments.
- Partner with Sales and National Account Managers to develop customer presentations, business reviews, new product introductions, promotional programs, and other customer marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with Sales, Culinary, NPD, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to bring products and programs successfully to market.
- Monitor marketing and customer initiative performance and identify opportunities to improve commercial results.
- Manage assigned marketing budgets and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing investments.
- Lead and direct external agencies and creative partners on packaging, presentations, sell sheets, promotional materials, photography, and other marketing assets.
- Support retail packaging programs, including creative direction, layout, and structural recommendations.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships and influence stakeholders to move projects from strategy through execution.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, collaboration, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
What You Bring
- College or University degree/diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in channel marketing, customer marketing, trade marketing, brand marketing, product development, or a related discipline.
- Experience in CPG, food, retail, or a customer-focused environment is preferred.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn market and customer insights into actionable opportunities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, writing, and storytelling skills.
- Creative mindset with an understanding of packaging and customer-facing marketing materials.
- Experience working with external agencies or creative partners is an asset.
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Pay: $100,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
