We are a full service, well established landscaping company specializing in designing, installing, and maintaining enduring landscapes. What we are looking for!
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Residential Lead hand. We are looking for someone who loves plants, has a great eye for detail and takes pride in their work. In this role, you will take care of high end maintenance clients where you will be expected to ensure all daily tasks are completed. Some tasks include weeding, pruning, blowing, detailing beds, planting and doing small renos. The focus of this position will be on providing high quality maintenance to our clients, ensuring your crew is working efficiently and safely, communicating daily progress on each site and training new employees.
Requirements of the successful candidate include:
- Held a lead role position for a minimum of two years
- Time management skills
- Ability to drive truck and trailer
- Class 5 drivers license
- Ensures safe work practices
- Has a positive mindset and strong work ethic (Leads by example)
- Knowledge on plant ID and plant health care
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships and demonstrate effective communication with your crew and clients.
- Ability to perform physical labour and to work in all weather conditions.
- Horticultural Certificate is an asset
- IPM Certificate is as asset
