We are hiring for a transportation company seeking an experienced
Payroll Coordinator to join their team immediately.
Start Date: Immediately
Shift: Full Time
Location: Milton, ON
Rate: $50,000/year
Responsibilities:
- Process driver payroll (par-per-mile and hourly employees)
- Complete dock payroll accurately and on schedule
- Ensure payroll complies with company policies and applicable legislation
- 'Maintain payroll records and employee information
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Assist with payroll reporting and related administrative duties
- Work closely with management on payroll-related tasks
Requirements:
- Previous payroll experience in the transportation/trucking industry
- Experience processing driver and dock payroll
- Payroll education or certification is considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
