Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas are hygienic, organized, and well-maintained, contributing to a positive environment for employees and visitors alike. This role is essential in supporting the overall operations by providing reliable cleaning and facilities maintenance services.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Ensure trash receptacles are emptied and waste is disposed of properly
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, mirrors, and other surfaces to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
- Replenish supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks or report larger repairs to the appropriate personnel
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent quality of service
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or custodial work, preferably in commercial or facilities settings
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and supplies
- Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks and identify when repairs are needed
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
