The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Cabinet Maker to join our Kelowna-based team full-time. This is a key role responsible for building high-end millwork from raw materials through to finished product.
You’ll work closely with our CNC and finishing departments, reporting to the Shop Foreman, and collaborate with a team of skilled craftsmen and craftswomen who take pride in their work.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and execute detailed engineering drawings and build books
- Select, prepare, and verify materials for fabrication
- Build custom cabinetry, furniture, and millwork components
- Operate standard woodworking machinery with precision and safety
- Package finished products efficiently for seamless site installation
- Perform incoming and outgoing quality inspections
- Contribute to continuous improvement and help raise production standards
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cabinet making experience (preferred)
- Formal training in woodworking/cabinetmaking (strong asset)
- Proven experience working in a millwork production environment
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement (asset)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Problem-solving mindset with a positive, easy-going attitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
