Peak Precision Machining is a full-service machine shop located in the beautiful Rocky Mountains just outside of Canmore, Alberta. We specialize in custom machining using conventional equipment and take pride in delivering precision craftsmanship with fast turnaround times.
As a machinist with Peak Precision Machining, you'll work alongside experienced tradespeople, including millwrights and pump service mechanics. In addition to custom machining, we provide hydraulic cylinder repairs, pump rebuilds, fabrication, and mechanical services. Our work is varied, challenging, and no two days are the same - making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems and working on a wide range of projects.
Position: Experienced Manual Machinist
We are looking for an experienced Manual Machinist to join our team.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with plenty of overtime opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating conventional/manual machine tools (lathe, mill, boring mill, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and produce precision parts from drawings or samples
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship; working within tight tolerances.
Please note: This position is not suitable for candidates with only CNC machining experience. Hands-on experience operating conventional/manual machines is a requirement.
