Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver products to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles, checking for mechanical issues and maintaining vehicle cleanliness
- Communicate effectively with customers upon delivery, answering questions and providing excellent service
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and inventory records throughout each shift
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving stock, organizing shipments, and preparing items for dispatch
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate deliveries efficiently and resolve any issues promptly
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries and pickups
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and transportation regulations
