Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role requires strong communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued to assist our diverse guest population.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, make reservations, and provide information about hotel amenities
- Handle guest requests promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and billing information
- Provide information about local attractions, dining options, and hotel services
- Ensure the front desk area remains organized, clean, and welcoming
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs and resolve issues efficiently
- Uphold excellent phone etiquette and customer service standards at all times
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience in front desk operations or hospitality is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy environment
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse guests
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and guest service software is advantageous
- Previous hotel experience is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Professional appearance and positive attitude are essential for representing the hotel brand effectively
Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
