We’re hiring a part-time Assistant Store Manager / Floor Lead to join our Ossington store. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with presence, initiative, and strong retail instincts - someone who can read the room, lead the floor, and help shape how PERMISSION feels in real life.
You’ll be a key part of the store experience: welcoming customers into the brand, styling product with confidence, creating moments of connection, supporting the team through busy days, and making sure every detail - from the energy on the floor to the way the space looks - feels intentional and unmistakably PERMISSION.
3–4 shifts per week, weekends included$23–$28/hr, based on experience.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN
- Leading the floor and setting the tone for the team each shift
- Acting as a key holder, including opening and closing the store with full accountability
- Creating a warm, elevated, and deeply knowledgeable customer experience
- Styling customers with confidence and speaking clearly about fit, fabric, function, and how each piece lives in their everyday wardrobe
- Welcoming customers into the PERMISSION world and helping them feel seen, comfortable, and excited to be part of the community
- Keeping the energy on the floor focused, warm, and alive - especially during busy moments
- Supporting daily sales goals while keeping the experience thoughtful, personal, and never transactional
- Resolving customer needs quickly, professionally, and with sound judgment
- Receiving incoming shipments, unpacking, organizing, and getting product floor-ready
- Keeping the space clean, considered, and visually aligned with the PERMISSION standard
- Supporting visual merchandising and making sure the store always feels intentional
- Handling the unexpected with calm, confidence, and good judgment
- Bringing ideas, initiative, and a real sense of ownership to how the store runs day to day
- A role in shaping in-store community moments, from events and activations to the everyday energy that makes PERMISSION feel alive
- Helping build a strong team culture rooted in care, accountability, and pride in the brand
This is a hands-on retail role that requires standing for extended periods and lifting shipment boxes as needed.
