Job Summary
The Career Foundation is currently seeking a Warehouse Worker / Delivery Driver on behalf of one of our employer partners.
Our employer partner is a well-established Canadian distributor specializing in cabinet hardware, kitchen and furniture accessories, and related building products. With multiple locations across the Greater Toronto Area, they are known for delivering quality products and exceptional service to contractors, cabinet manufacturers, retailers, and other commercial clients.
As the company continues to grow, they are looking for dependable, energetic, and hardworking individuals to join their warehouse team.
This is a dual-role position where you'll assist with warehouse operations, including order picking and inventory management, while also completing local deliveries using a company cargo van when required.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company cargo van or light delivery vehicle to deliver products to customers throughout the GTA.
- Plan efficient delivery routes and provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles and incoming shipments.
- Receive, inspect, and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory and assist with stock replenishment.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
QualificationsRequired
- Valid Ontario Class G driver's licence with a clean driving record (Driver's Abstract required).
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse, shipping/receiving, order picking, or commercial delivery driving experience.
- Ability to safely lift and move products weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Conversational English with the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
Assets
- Experience operating delivery vans or light commercial vehicles.
- Experience in hardware, building materials, distribution, or wholesale environments.
- Forklift experience or certification is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with inventory or warehouse management systems.
