ZS Holdings Ltd. is a family owned and operated company with several hotels in Edson, Hinton, and Red Deer. We are currently looking to expand our team in the position of Maintenance Worker at Holiday Inn Hinton.
ZS Holdings is seeking an experienced handyman or woman to join our team. You will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the hotel with preventative maintenance, regulatory checks, troubleshooting, and repairs. Experience maintaining and servicing pools is considered an asset
Skill Requirements:
- Ensure that the whole property is operational
- Check that the assigned rooms are fully operational (lights, T.V, A/C units, tubs, faucets, Bathroom vents)
- Monthly preventative maintenance on every department/area of the property
- Checking the swimming pool and hot tub
- Ensuring all levels and chemicals are added to the pool and hot tub according to standards
- Regularly checking the A/C units
- Quarterly checking the smoke detectors and emergency lights
- Regularly checking and cleaning washers, dryers, fridge, and dishwashers
- Regularly checking/ cleaning /replacing filters for the ventilation system
- Repair of defective or broken appliances, if possible
- Monitor big equipment and systems (Elevator, Ventilation system, Cable system) and coordinate with proper companies
- Attend weekly meetings with managers to discuss problems and solutions done for the past week and plans for the coming week
- Repair/Fix problems written in the maintenance book
- Do other work required by management
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on heating systems
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on plumbing systems
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
- Paint, and repair drywall
