Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Installer to oversee and execute HVAC installation and repair projects across Winnipeg and neighboring areas. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of HVAC system. This role involves coordinating installation teams, interpreting schematics, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards. The Lead Installer will play a critical role in maintaining client satisfaction and upholding the company's reputation for excellence in HVAC installation and repair and maintenance services.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise installation teams
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various HVAC units
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings to guide installation procedures
- Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components such as motors, controls, gauges, valves, circulating pumps, condensers, humidifiers, evaporators and compressors using hand and power tools.
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure proper finishes and prevent leaks
- Measure and cut piping, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment
- Install, troubleshoot and overhaul entire heating, ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- Start up system and test for leaks using testing devices
- Recharge system with refrigerant, check and test regulators, calibrate system and perform routine maintenance or servicing
- Repair and replace parts and components for entire heating, air conditioning and ventilation system
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely completion of tasks within scope
- Maintain safety protocols on-site and ensure team compliance with safety regulations
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance before client handover
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
