Position Title: Twin Boom Jumbo Operator

Location: Tuvatu, Fiji
Reports To: Mine Manager

Purpose
Provide excellent mining and drilling skills to Lion One Metals.
Key Accountabilities / Activities
Competent in bolting, meshing, and boring.
Accurately mark-up and drill multiple drill patterns using mechanised hydraulic or electric jumbo drills to suit drive conditions.
Assess ground conditions at the face and implement ground control according to site requirements.
Read and accurately follow mine instruction plans, ensuring holes are drilled to design line, gradient, and profile with precision.
Communicate with surveyors, geologists, and engineers to optimise drill pattern and meters.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Mine Manager.

Experience operating twin boom jumbos.
Ability to read and understand designed ground support plans.
Experience with Twin Boom Sandvik Tamrock DD420-60C (asset).
Positive, can-do attitude.
Physically fit.
Knowledge
Practical understanding of drilling and mining methods.
Sound understanding of equipment operation on a daily basis.
Strong ability to read manuals and equipment information.
