What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical equipment
- Diagnose electrical and automation issues to minimize downtime
- Install, modify, and maintain production equipment
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled machinery and automated production lines
- Work with motor controls, VFDs, sensors, HMIs, and industrial control systems
- Support robotics, conveyors, packaging, stamping, and automated equipment
- Complete preventive and predictive maintenance
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
- Follow all electrical safety standards, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and company policies
Looking For
✅ Valid Ontario 442A Industrial Electrician or 309A Electrician License
✅ Minimum 3-5 years of industrial or manufacturing experience
✅ Strong troubleshooting skills on industrial electrical systems
✅ Experience with:
- Allen Bradley PLCs
- Siemens PLCs
- Fanuc Controls (asset)
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- Motor Controls
- HMIs
- Industrial Automation
- Robotics
- Sensors & Instrumentation
✅ Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints
✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✅ Comfortable working rotating shifts and overtime when required
