Job Overview
As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for placing, finishing, repairing, and maintaining concrete surfaces on commercial and residential projects. You will operate both hand-finishing tools and power finishing equipment while working safely and efficiently to deliver high-quality results.
Duties
- Place, level, smooth, and finish freshly poured concrete.
- Operate walk-behind and ride-on power trowels.
- Perform hand finishing using floats, trowels, edgers, and other finishing tools.
- Install and repair concrete forms as required.
- Apply curing compounds, sealers, and surface treatments.
- Repair concrete defects and surface imperfections.
- Install reinforcing materials and embedded hardware when required.
- Operate construction tools and equipment safely.
- Maintain clean and organized job sites.
- Follow all company safety policies and provincial health and safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and crew members to meet project schedules.
RequirementsExperience
- Previous experience as a Concrete Finisher.
- Experience operating power trowels.
- Strong hand-finishing skills.
- Experience working on commercial and/or residential concrete projects.

Union Membership
This position is covered by Labourers' Union Local 615. Successful candidates must be members in good standing or be eligible to join the union upon hire. We will provide the necessary documentation and support throughout the membership process. Union wages, benefits, dues, and working conditions are governed by the applicable Collective Agreement.
Pay: $23.50-$30.00 per hour
