Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. Duties
- Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items, including chopping, slicing, and measuring.
- Cook dishes according to standardized recipes and presentation standards.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as marinating, portioning, and plating.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations.
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to meet safety regulations.
- Support the serving staff by preparing orders efficiently and accurately.
- Follow all food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure quality control.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages.
Experience
- Mexican culinary experience is required.
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is required.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety practices is advantageous.
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and standards in the food industry.
- Experience with meal preparation, food service operations, and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health standards.
- Food handlers and smart serve certificate required.
- Proficient in English and Spanish.
Pay: $17.20-$21.00 per hour
