Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our warehouse team. This role involves operating equipment, handling heavy materials, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and adapting to new products and processes.

Schedule - Two options to choose from:
(7:30-3:30 with a 30-minute paid lunch)
or
(7:30-4:00 with 1 hour lunch)
- Please note either shift is paid for 40 hours, with 37.5 hours worked total.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary Duties
Wire Cutting & Handling
- Operate wire-cutting machines safely and efficiently
- Handle large, heavy reels of cable (manual + forklift use)
- Calculate and measure lengths accurately
- Tag, label, and record all cut lengths and changes
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness around machines and work areas
Wire Organization
- Organize and maintain all wire locations in the warehouse
- Ensure reels are properly tagged and identified
- Monitor and maintain accurate stock quantities
- Reorganize and adapt layout as new products arrive
Wire Cleanup & Material Management
- Clean up skids and work areas
- Recycle copper and other materials as required
- Put stock away in the correct locations
- Rearrange stock to accommodate product changes
- Sweep and maintain tidy floors throughout the workspace
Secondary Duties
- Clean aisles and general warehouse areas
- Order picking on Fridays
- Stock shelves and replenish inventory
- Assist with deliveries as needed
- Help move stock throughout the warehouse
- Load and unload vehicles
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy loads
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes
- Good communication skills and teamwork
- Forklift training or certification is an asset (training can be provided)
Safety Expectations:
This position involves working around heavy reels, forklifts, and wire-cutting machinery. These machines always require focus and safe operation. Safety is our #1 priority. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of working carefully and following procedures to prevent injuries.
