Landscaper / Crew Member – The Sod Squad (Quesnel, BC)
We’re looking for a Landscaper to join our growing team at The Sod Squad in Quesnel, BC.
This is a hands on role for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in clean, sharp results, and wants to be part of a crew that actually gets after it.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lawn maintenance (mowing, trimming, edging, blowing)
- Dethatching, aeration, overseeding, and lawn restorations
- Topdressing and soil spreading
- Hedge trimming, pruning, and general plant care
- Garden bed prep, weed control, and mulch/rock installs
- Basic irrigation adjustments and troubleshooting (not required, but a bonus)
- Fence and light hardscape support (when needed)
- Loading/unloading tools and materials efficiently
- Keeping job sites clean, organized, and professional
- Communicating clearly with crew members and clients on site
What We’re Looking For:
- Landscaping experience preferred (but not required if you’re willing to learn)
- Strong work ethic and reliability, no babysitting needed
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and stay on your feet all day
- Valid driver’s license is a strong asset
- Someone who takes pride in doing things properly, not just quickly
