Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems according to blueprints and schematics
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical tasks
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installations
- Work with low voltage wiring systems, including control panels, sensors, and communication lines
- Support the setup and configuration of electrical components in construction sites or industrial environments
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and team members
- Participate in routine inspections, troubleshooting, and testing of electrical circuits and equipment
Skills
- Previous experience as an industrial electrician or in electrical work is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage wiring and control circuits
- Proficiency with hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams accurately
- Experience working with power tools safely in construction or industrial settings
- Good understanding of construction processes related to electrical installations
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety standards and quality workmanship
