Great Canadian Trolley - Gray Line Vancouver is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Bus Painter to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing, repairing, and painting our fleet of trolley buses, mini-coaches, coach buses and other commercial vehicles to maintain a professional, high-quality appearance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming.
- Repair dents, scratches, and surface imperfections before painting.
- Apply primer and specialty finishes using professional spray-painting equipment.
- Match paint colours and finishes accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and environmental regulations.
- Inspect completed work to ensure a high-quality finish.
Qualifications
- Previous experience painting buses, commercial vehicles, trucks, or automobiles preferred.
- Experience using spray guns and automotive painting equipment.
- Knowledge of paint preparation, masking, sanding, and finishing techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Valid driver's licence is an asset.
