POSITION NAME: On-Call Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (B777,B787,A330 or other widebody TC approved endorsements )
YOUR TASKS:
Carry out line maintenance (daily, weekly, service checks) on widebody aircraft types on an on-call basis
Perform other work on aircraft as outlined by applicable Inspection Instructions, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins in accordance with accepted practices.
Ensure that all items of work are recorded and signed out as required on the applicable Maintenance Control forms.
Carry out any other assigned duties as directed by the supervisor/manager.
Track and plan maintenance activities and coordinate with Dispatch as required.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:
- Must hold a valid Transport Canada M2 aircraft maintenance engineer license
- Must hold valid Transport Canada B777,B787,A330 or other widebody aircraft endorsements
- Minimum 2 years of licensed AME experience and line maintenance experience is an asset.
- Be familiar with the appropriate parts of the MPM, MCM, aircraft operations specifications and maintenance manuals necessary for the performance of his/her duties.
- Must be able to work independently and have good organizational skills, pro-active, result-oriented and strive for continued improvement.
- Must have or be able to successfully obtain an Airport Security Clearance (RAIC) including an airside driver’s permit (AVOP) for the respective airport
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to company needs.
- Must be available for on-call work hours
- Must be able to reliably commute to YYT or YYR
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada, Wright International does not provide sponsorship.

Pay: $53.00-$55.00 per hour
