Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong desire to contribute to the beautification and maintenance of various landscapes. This role involves performing physical tasks related to landscape construction and ensuring that our clients' outdoor spaces are finctional and aesthetically pleasing.
Duties
- Perform various landscape tasks including shoveling, raking and moving different materials
- Dig, build, and maintain garden beds, ensuring proper plant placement and soil preparation.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various landscaping projects.
- Irrigate plants and lawns as needed, ensuring optimal water distribution.
- Assist in the installation of hardscapes such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Maintain equipment by cleaning, lubricating, and performing minor repairs as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet client expectations.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
Skills
- Proficiency in using power tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining tools and machinery.
- Ability to dig and build garden beds or other landscape features with precision
- Capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
