Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items efficiently while maintaining consistency and quality
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards to ensure customer satisfaction
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Support kitchen staff during busy periods, ensuring smooth workflow and timely service
- Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Contribute to menu planning ideas and suggest improvements based on customer feedback
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant or culinary setting
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques
- Experience with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Background in dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus
- Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and catering operations is desirable
- Fine dining experience or work in the food industry enhances your candidacy
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to serve efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
