As a Cashier & Customer Service Associate, you’ll be the friendly face that welcomes every customer, answers questions, and helps match them with the right products for their pets. You’ll play a key role in making each visit a positive and memorable experience.

Previous experience in customer service, retail, and cashier duties

Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Comfortable with some physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs

An interest in and good knowledge of various pets. Knowledge in any of these areas is an asset: dogs, cats, aquariums and fish, small pets, birds, reptiles, or farm animals such as chickens, horses, goats, and sheep.

Provide daily care for live animals, including feeding, cleaning, and health observation

Maintain, set up, and improve cages, tanks, and habitats to meet species-specific needs

Develop strong knowledge of our products to offer sound advice

Maximize sales opportunities and help achieve store targets

Stay up to date on promotions, loyalty programs, and new products
Store Operations

Ring purchases through the till with accuracy and efficiency

Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing displays

Follow opening/closing procedures (when required) and adhere to security policies
