Expertec is a leading turnkey provider of van and truck outfitting with four (4) locations in North America, headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta. We design and install tailored solutions for industrial and commercial service vehicles including aluminum slide-in service bodies, Spacekaps, van shelving, and more.
The purpose of this position is to construct, assemble and install van and truck equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This list of duties and responsibilities is not exhaustive and additional duties or responsibilities may be required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work under the general supervision of the Branch Coordinator;
- Construct and Assemble: Van shelving, ladder racks, safety partitions, etc;
- Install Van equipment including wall liners, flooring, shelving, cabinets, safety partitions, ladder racks;
- Install truck equipment including flat decks, Spacekap service bodies, Hydraulic lift gates, headache racks, toolboxes, and Canopies;
- Install 12V and 120V Vehicle Accessories, including Beacons, Strobes, Traffic Advisors, Lighting, Power Inverters, Boosters, Coolant Heaters, Remote Starters, etc;
- Diagnose and repair 12V and 120V electrical issues;
- Adhere to all safety regulations;
- Assure efficient use of personnel, materials, facilities and time;
- Keep shop area clean and tidy;
- Pick up and deliver vehicles when necessary;
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Automotive Electrical experience required;
- Mechanical aptitude is required;
- Welding experience is considered an asset.
- Driver’s License is required;
- Sheet metal experience is considered an asset;
- Forklift License is considered an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00-$38.00 per hour
