Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of construction management processes. This role is vital in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Site Superintendent will coordinate with various teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety and compliance on-site.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate leadership in Health & Safety and that all health and safety requirements are followed and adhered to.
- Establish and identify on-site manpower requirements.
- Ensure that completion dates and milestones of the construction schedule in conjunction with the project team are met.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager for all construction site start-up details including the schedule.
- Organize and schedule all sub-contractors.
- Order and receive misc. materials.
- Ensure that the project is built according to the approved plans, specifications and shop drawings.
- Maintain and keep organized all construction site inventory and daily logs.
- Establish 2 week look ahead schedules.
- Lead and chair by-weekly sub-trade meetings.
Qualifications
- 10+ years’ proven construction site superintendent experience in the ICI construction industry.
- A construction related certificate, diploma or degree is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of construction disciplines, safety regulations, and scheduling.
- Ability to quickly identify problematic situations, identify possible causes and produce effective solutions.
- Ability and willingness to assist other team members with physical duties as needed.
- Good computer skills and previous experience with MS word, excel and project.

Pay: $125,000.00 per year
