About the Role
Navien Canada is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and resourceful IT / General Affairs Support Specialist to join its Administration team on a temp-to-hire basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional who enjoys a hands-on, varied role and is interested in developing experience across both IT support and office/facilities administration.
The successful candidate will provide Level 1 IT support to local and remote employees while also assisting with the day-to-day administration and maintenance of the office and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
IT Support & Helpdesk
- Provide Level 1 technical support as the first point of contact for employees experiencing IT-related issues.
- Troubleshoot basic Windows, Microsoft 365, desktop hardware, software, printer, network connectivity, and user account issues.
- Set up, configure, deploy, and maintain computers, monitors, printers, cabling, and other approved IT equipment.
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including account setup, access provisioning, laptop preparation, and equipment collection.
- Maintain accurate records of IT equipment, user access, and company technology assets.
- Track and document helpdesk requests and escalate more complex issues to the appropriate U.S.-based IT Infrastructure or Systems teams.
- Assist with laptop re-imaging, software installation, and basic device configuration as required.
General Affairs & Facilities Administration
- Support the day-to-day operation of the office and facilities, ensuring the workplace is safe, organized, and functioning properly.
- Monitor office conditions, utilities, security systems, access control, and other building-related services.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for repairs, maintenance, inspections, and other facility requirements.
- Request and compare vendor quotes and assist with scheduling service appointments.
- Follow up with vendors to ensure work is completed properly and within the required timeframe.
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and other administrative requirements.
- Maintain organized records of facility repairs, maintenance schedules, vendor information, contracts, utility records, and service activities.
- Assist with workplace health and safety requirements and general office compliance.
- Provide general administrative support to the Administration team as needed.
Qualifications
Required
- 0–2 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, technical support, office administration, facilities coordination, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, peripherals, printers, and network connectivity.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer-service mindset and a willingness to assist employees with technical and administrative needs.
- Resourceful and comfortable troubleshooting problems independently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work 100% on-site in North York, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Preferred / Assets
- Experience with a helpdesk ticketing system or IT service management platform.
- Familiarity with IT asset management and equipment tracking.
- Basic experience with Microsoft Intune and/or Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID.
- Familiarity with office security systems such as CCTV and access control.
- Basic understanding of facility systems such as HVAC, utilities, or building maintenance.
- Previous experience coordinating with vendors or service providers.
- Korean and English bilingual proficiency is considered a strong asset.

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
